Greg Evans

Greg has 43 years of experience working in the Oil and Gas Industry. Greg brings a unique set of talents to PDI and to our industry as a whole. Greg’s career is the epitome of a Grass Roots success story. Greg has immense knowledge of Oil and Gas Production and Construction operations, spanning from Land to Deepwater.

He started his career as a contract welder on land-based projects and was hired direct after a short period with Placid Oil. He served in numerous operational roles at Placid from 1981 to 2001. After Placid was acquired, Greg moved on to serve in various offshore production positions with Baker Energy on contracts with Texaco & Anadarko. In 2006, Greg moved into the office as an Account Manager with Baker, which eventually became WoodGroup and ultimately Danos through two acquisition cycles. Greg has served in the role of managing key accounts and a group of 100-300 employees on various Operations and Maintenance contracts. He prides himself on being a solid mentor, advocate, and firsthand support system for his team.

In his free time, he enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family.
